NMP is a polar nonproton transfer solvent. It has low toxicity, high boiling point and excellent solubility. Strong selectivity and good stability. It is widely used in aromatics extraction, acetylene, olefin and diene purification, as well as in polymer solvents and polymerization media, such as engineering plastics and aramid fibers. It can also be used in pesticides, medicine and detergents. The substance can dissolve with water, and the exothermic heat you find is just the heat of dissolution released by the substance when it dissolves into the water, similar to the amount of heat released when concentrated sulfuric acid is added to the water. Adherent heat of dissolution: refers to the thermal effect of a certain mass of solutes dissolved in solvents at a certain temperature and pressure (usually at 298K and 100kPa). Equal to the heat emitted or absorbed when a mole of solute dissolves in a large volume of solvent.

Individual protective equipment
Eye/Face Protection: Safety eyeglasses with protective side shields meet EN166 requirements. Use equipment tested and approved by official standards such as NIOSH (USA) or EN166 (EU) to protect eyes.
Skin protection: Gloves and gloves must be checked before use.
Physical protection: Anti-penetration clothing and protective equipment types must be selected according to the concentration and quantity of dangerous substances in a particular workplace.
Respiratory system protection: If the hazard assessment indicates the need to use air purification gas masks, please use full-face multi-function gas masks (US) or ABEK gas masks (EN14387) as alternate for engineering control. If gas masks are the only way to protect, then use a full-face air supply gas mask. Respirators use breathers and parts that have been tested and passed government standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).
