NMP leak emergency response should do so
Emergency Management of NMP Leakage
Operators'protective measures, protective equipment and emergency disposal procedures: use personal protective equipment. Avoid inhaling steam, smoke or gas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Remove all sources of fire. Personnel evacuated to safe areas. Beware of vapor accumulation to explosive concentrations. Steam can accumulate in low-lying areas.
NMP environmental protection measures: If safety can be ensured, measures can be taken to prevent further leakage or spillover. Do not let the product enter the sewer.
Containment and removal methods of leaking chemicals and disposal materials used: containment of spills, collection of spills with an anti-electric vacuum cleaner or wet brush, and placement in containers, according to local regulations. Put it in a properly sealed container for disposal.
NMP fire protection measures:
Flammability: Flash point: (88 C)
Spontaneous combustion temperature: upper limit of flammability at 346 (% of volume in air): 9.5% < br />.
Inflammable lower limit (air volume percentage): 1.3%
Extinguishing methods: carbon dioxide, dry chemicals or foam fire extinguishing.
6. Emergency treatment of leakage: emergency treatment: clearing fire source. Isolate the overflow area. Tools should be used to fill and recover spills if possible. A small amount of spilled liquid is absorbed with inert substances and placed in a licensed chemical waste container. For large amounts of spilled liquids, inert substances are used to transfer the spill area around the levee into the same container as above. It should not be allowed to flow into sewers or drains.
